Syncing multiple excel files

Hello everyone,

I want to preface this by saying I have no idea if this is possible. What I am trying to do is have an excel file that has "links" to other excel files. sort of like a hyperlink on a web page but not that. In more detail I would like to have a main excel file (call it file A), that has names of other excel files (call them file B-Z) and there content. For example lets say that file A's cells A1 B1 C1 have the content of file B's cells A1 B1 C1 and has the file A's cells A2 B2 C@ have the contents of file C's A1 B1 C1 . Also I would like to have the "link" consistently be updated so if I modify file B the cells in file A will correspond to the new file B cells

P.S. I am using excel 2010, and sorry if this is worded incorrectly or not clear enough.
