Hello, I am fairly new to excel and I am working on a spreadsheet that is updated weekly and has data for 4 weeks in the past and has projections for the future. Every week the spreadsheet is updated and one weeks worth of data is deleted and the rest of data is shifted to the left a few cells. Currently, this is being done manually, I am trying to find a way to automate this by using macros. I found that I can record this process and then do it that way, but I wanted to know if there was an easier way. I tried to illustrate what it happening below, but the spacing and formatting did not show up when I went to post this. I apologize ahead of time if my request is hard to understand.
Currently, when we go to update the week, we update the date (week of 6-22 currently) in one cell, and the rest automatically adjust to the next week using a minus 7 from the adjacent date. What I would like to do is when each date shifts down the line, it brings the corresponding data to the next column as well. Can anyone tell me if this is possible, or is recording a macro of manually doing it my best option? Thanks ahead of time.
