Add 1 to Date - Formula Fill Down

I'd like to ask the user how many days are in the period and then take that answer and fill in a formula in that many rows.

I've figured out the input box but I haven't figured out how to make the formula add "1" to the above cell. The goal is to have dates in consecutive order.. 1/1/15, 1/2/15, 1/3/15, etc goinColumn A.

Here's what I have so far... I'm stuck on getting the formula to be "add one to the above cell"

What's wrong with my formula? I get "=SUM(#REF!:XFD:XFD)" in the cells..

It is not my kind of expertise, but probably the red colored text is the issue.
