How to: Create button that adds +1 to A1 field each time it's clicked.

I have the developer tab up and know how to create / insert "Form" and "ActiveX" buttons. I'm just trying to add +1 every time the button is clicked.

i.e.: a1 field is empty....click the button....a1 field now says "1". Click it again....says "2"

I realize this is probably really easy as I used to create really complex stuff in Excel for a job I used to have. It's been 10ish years since I used Excel like this so I'm extreeeeeeeeeeeemly rusty and I'm just staring at my screen. Plz Halp!

Looks like it might, but you're giving me too much credit. So....would I plug this into a Form button or an Active X button? Once I've created the proper button....how do I plug it in and active it? My questions are too odd for Google to produce an answer for me. I have tried this first. Honest!

I got it sorted with the formula you provided. Just created a "Form" button, clicked "Edit Code" in the developer toolbar...pasted that bad-boy in there...works. *shrug* Appreciate it.
