    Ontime opens up other workbooks

    Hi

    I hope you can help.

I have spent quite a bit of time creating a workbook to send an email every hour. It seems to work ok but on 2 or 3 occasions today it opened up another workbook(s). These are ones I do access but are not linked in any way to this particular workbook.

Any ideas? I have tried and I cant see anything that would make it open these workbooks.

    Thanks

What are the names of the other workbooks that are opened? Do the other workbooks have VBA code? If so, is code in the other workbooks getting executed? I am trying to figure out if your timed events are attempting to call Subs in the other workbooks.

The workbooks that open are not mentioned in the workbook anywhere but yes the do have vba code which are triggered manually as required. The Subs arent called in these workbooks, it just seems to open and close them. 1 has links that are prompted before updating and as soon as i update them it closes the workbook in question.

You may want to review the forum rules (in all forums) on cross-posting, as you seem to have posted this in a lot of forums.

Still having issues. I think it could be something to do with cancelling the ontime when I exit the workbook.

    This is what I have
