    Alter Test In A Cell

    Hello,

I am looking for help on a macro I am working on. I have a spreadsheet that I am working with, in column H there is a date (05/29/2015). What I am trying to do is to alter the data in this field and copy it to the cell next to it in Column I. Here is an example of what I need. H4 = 05/29/2015, I4 = 2015 - 05. So it will just pull off the month and year of the date and paste that into column I.

Please let me know if you have any ideas on how to do this?

    Thank you,
    Matt

I'm even lazier than Richard. I'd just use the formula =H1 and format the column with yyyy" - "mm

    In VBA
