    default email signature

I am creating an email from within Excel

Is there any property I can use to tell Outlook to use the default email signature when Displaying the new email? I know the user can easily add the signature to the bottom of the mail before sending but it would be easier for them if the default was applied.

    Thanks

Not 100% sure but I believe the signature is in the email until you set the .body property, which overwrites.. so try this:

    Re: default email signature

Arkadi, many thanks for your reply. That makes perfect sense but just adding the keyword & signature doesn't seem to do the trick. You are perfectly correct that the .body statement overwrites the signature as if I comment that out then the email displayed includes the signature. Any more suggestions gratefully received

    Cheers

    Paul

    Re: default email signature

Paul, did you try the code I posted? On my end using that code produces an email with signature. please note it is not just a keyword, it was first assigned a value at the top, then added back at the end. I edited that post to show the changes I made in red.

    Re: default email signature

Arkadi. Many thanks. I had missed the first part of the amendment you suggested. Apologies for that. It does work now I put that in with one minor exception. I have a jpeg within the signature which shows up when I create a normal email but is absent when I create the email from Excel. I can live with it as is but if you have any further suggestions that would be very much appreciated. Once again thanks very much for your assistance.
