Clear Content from Column

Hi! I am trying to clear content from selected(active) column while excluding x1, x2, x3, x4 cells respectively.
I have something like this right now. It doesn't work but looking for a solution across these lines.

I don't want it to be necessarily be column B. It should depend on active selection of a cell or cells.
