Importing CSV file in UTF8

Hi all,

I'm using the following VBA script to import a CSV file with a button. Works fine, but the problem is that the imported text contains a lot of weird characters and I believe it does not import in UTF8. I've tried for hours already, but just can't get it to work Hope someone can help. The source file is definitely UTF8 and displays correctly when I import it via the usual text import function and not via VBA.

I'm sorry, but I can't provide the CSV as it contains sensitive data.

If I import the csv via the 'import text' function and choose "65001: Unicode (UTF-8)" as the file origin it works totally fine. Think I just need to add this bit somewhere in my code so the script knows which file origin to choose.

Unfortunately without a proper example I cannot help you.
Please provide your excel sheet and csv.

You can remove the sensitive data first, by replacing with dummy values.
