Hi,
I have a spreadsheet which is password protected. As part of this protection, however, we have to allow editing of objects because we have comments in certain cells and we want the End User to be able to edit these comments.
The problem is we also have shapes/objects/buttons (NotActiveX Control buttons) which do need protection because they have macros assigned to them and currently with the protection we are using they can select them and move/edit etc.
Is there some code I could use that would prevent these specific shapes from being edited? So,
1) Can code be written to protect these objects/shapes?
2) If so, how would this work i.e. would it be an On Open Event type code?
3) If yes how would the designers (aka me) get access to edit?
Thanks
