Import commands from microsoft word

Word has some convenient commands that don't appear in Excel - for example, Change Case. Is it possible to import that command into Excel, and if so, How ?

=UPPER(A1)
=LOWER(A1)

Thanks, Pete. Unfortunately, this requires that the case change occur in a different cell. Case Change command in Word allows you to select a word or words and change them in their current location.
