Try "marti2" and password "222"
Login "marti1" became locked until I tested the code
You attached a closed self-password protected workbook, without the log-in data.
It appears that you also used the RowSource property to fill the username combo box, making it incompatible with my Mac. (Mac doesn't support RowSource)
You also make the max length of the ComboBox 0, so I can't type in the username "Marti1".
The workbook that you posted isn't compatible with Macs. I hope that none of your clients own one.
Having said all that, to answer your question
To get the label to show how many attempts are remaining, you could put this line before the "try again" msgbox in the CommandButton1_Click code.
You might want to try this,
Please Login or Register to view this content.
Open the attached file, selecting Disable Macros on the opening dialog.
Create a new workbook.
Put this code in the new book, and run it.
Excel is not a secure platform. IMO, time spent trying to keep data secret in an Excel file can be better spent drinking beer.Please Login or Register to view this content.
