Concatenate row values on 2 sheets and conditional format where concatenated values <>

    Hello,

I have a workbook with 2 sheets that should have identical values in certain rows/columns. If these values are not identical then I need the row highlighted. Though I am able to achieve this with a formula and conditional formatting a macro would be much easier as in practice there will be several hundred rows and the task will need to be performed many times a day.

On both sheets I am concatenating values in columns E, G, and the left 6 characters in column H. The concatenated values for each row should be identical. If they are not identical the entire row is colored yellow.

    I have attached an example.Concat-Format.xlsm

    Thanks for your help!

I'm interested in starting a career working with VBA, if anyone knows of any opportunities!

Thank you walruseggman. I added a bit to the code so that it would generate the concatenation instead of relying on a formula, and a few other things. I discovered that when re-running the macro I need to clear out the old formatting and concatenated column first. At the end I copy the concatenated column from one sheet to the other and delete the source column. Hopefully there's a few bits in here that someone else may use. I sincerely appreciate the help.
