Find and Delete rows based on cell value VBA, using a list as search criteria

Hi, I'm fairly new to VBA and have mostly done recorded macros then edited from there. What I want out of my Macro is to have on one sheet (outgoing) a list of numbers in column A. In another sheet (mastersheet) another list of numbers also in column A. I want to delete from the list in the mastersheet any values that are in the list on the outgoing page. If possible I would then like the values on the outgoing page to then be deleted upon completion of the macro.

I have tried with no success a couple of different codes, all copied and altered from forums, but none seem to work.

It sounds like you want to delete the numbers that the same in both sheets in column A. Is this correct? Also, do you simply want to clear the cells in which these numbers are found or do you want to delete the entire row in which the numbers are found?
