Button to bring pop out menu of all available files in drop down.

    Hey guys,

I have a spreadsheet and i will be making three buttons eventually but currently just want to create a viewer on one of them .

I need to have the button bring up a menu that allows me to see all the Available files in folder, but i want this to be as a pop up window. Not actually a file chooser but a menu with all the names of the files available.

From this i need the menu to be linked to the File and once clicked it bring up said file and display it on sheet two (Through copy and paste) and go directly to sheet two once down to display the sheet. Was playing with the idea of there being a back button too which deletes the sheet two and returns back to sheet one.

Im not sure where to start on this so any help would be great!

User form or dropdown list somehow??

    Ste

    Hi Ste

I would love to work on this with you.

So I will start by creating a button that will let you browse for a folder and display the available files.

I would like to throw my hat in the ring on this. I'm an engineer. I don't invent things; I take things other people have invented and bolt and sew them together to produce a product. Some people call this the "Frankenstein Approach" to software development.

My approach uses a hidden sheet, excel tables and slicers. I set up the sheet, table and the slicers beforehand.

The only part of this code I don't like is copying the slicer to the page with the buttons. There are a lot of Select statements there. I tried "chaining" them together, but kept getting errors.
