Adobe PDF to Excel converison

I'm trying to convert PDF to excel.

We have Adobe creative suite which apparently allows our teams to edit and create PDF. However I haven't been able to get this to work.

(Which is basically a pdf to excel macro)

Does anyone have familiarity with excel/creative suite and know whether we can use any of the creative suite to get PDF into excel?

Or is adobe professional the only option?

Yes, you will need adobe acrobat's ACROBAT.DLL file to use the linked method. Even then not all PDF content can be extracted to Excel.

Other than that, I guess you could use a Sendkeys() method to copy and paste text (if the file has selectable text) but that is very crude.
