Expand/collapse grouped data based on a dropdown cell

Hello,

I am trying to create a macro which expand a set of grouped rows based on the value of a dropdown cell. For example, Cell C4 contains a dropdown for the years 2015-2025, and i have the corresponding data to those years grouped in the rows below. I would like to expand the data for 2016 when I select 2016 from the dropdown.

I have included a copy of my file which should better expain what I am trying to do, and the code that I have thus far.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to adjust my code to make this work? Is this even possible?

I tried recording a macro going step by step of what i'm trying to accomplish, but that did not work as planned. Any suggestions are appreciated!
