Hi all, this is my first time here and just starting out learning VBA and was hoping for someone to help me out!
A little about the problem I'm trying to get help on:
I have a hundreds of csv files that I have in a folder on my desktop and need to import all of them into a master excel sheet. So far, I am able to import all the csv files into the master copy but for every file I need to import, I need to skip the first row and column. Sorry if this is a noob question but I'm so lost. Attached is an example of one of the hundreds of csv file I need to import.
This is the code I have for importing all my csv files into my master sheet, but where and how would I add in the code to ignore the first row and first column of all the csv files?
Sub irradiance()
Dim wbCSV As Workbook
Dim wsMstr As Worksheet: Set wsMstr = ThisWorkbook.Sheets("Field Data")
Dim fPath As String: fPath = "C:\Users\Terry\Desktop\irradiance\"
Dim fCSV As String
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
fCSV = Dir(fPath & "*.csv")
Do While Len(fCSV) > 0
Set wbCSV = Workbooks.Open(fPath & fCSV)
Columns(1).Insert xlShiftToRight
ActiveSheet.UsedRange.Copy wsMstr.Range("B" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Offset(1)
wbCSV.Close False
fCSV = Dir
Loop
I appreciate any help!
