Is there any way to create a VBA code to auto save and email an Excel spreadsheet once it has been signed and approved. We are utilizing Excel to complete some service work and are using this and our invoicing method, once the customer approves we would like the document emailed to bookkeeping as well as the customer. Put the below in a regular module and call it in a command button perhaps; tested and works well.
And remember, your workbook needs to be a macro enabled workbook.

Yes, I have made a code similar to that work with a command button. However, once the document has been signed it becomes read only and this locks out the command button. Does the signing of a document create some kind of trigger which I could copy the command button based upon this trigger?

Are you talking about electronically signing of documents?
Also, can you remove personal information from your workbook and attach the file perhaps? This maybe ideal before further help could be attempted.
Yes, I am talking about digital signing. Unless there is another option for creating a signing area for our customer to sign off on. Please let me know any suggestions you may have.

You might want to discuss with your colleagues, superiors etc. and create a new official way to sign documents approved by your organization, perhaps with or without VBA input/features.
I will allow other folks to give their opinion.
