Guest list - search and check off

Hello,

I'm trying to create a searchable guest list so that someone on the door can search for a persons name on a tablet and check them off as attending.

I've tried experimenting with check boxes and I used a guide to create a search box but wasn't able to combine the two.

I've attached an example spreadsheet. I would like a check box to be next to each name if possible.
