Extracting only the text from cells which are formatted in italics

    Hello everyone,

I have a species list with a large number of species names formatted in italics which also have other information in the same cell but not formatted in italics. It seems to me that it only works when the content cell start with italic words. I tried the following formula but don't work in my case because the content of my cells don't start with words formatted in italic. I was not able to adapt it.

    Hi again,

Many thanks for your feedback and also for the Reputation increase - much appreciated

Glad I was able to help.
