Search values and remove all duplicates

I'd like to paste a list of values on sheet 1 (1 column of data that could have several hundred values (numbers or text or a combination of both)).

Many of these values would be duplicates.

On sheet 2 (or an adjacent column) I would like a list with all duplicates removed. The list would resemble what one would see in the filter list.

Here's an example of the data that would be pasted in column A.
