    summarization and presenting data from excel sheet to PDF using Macros

    Hi there

    i have a worksheet which i need to get the repeating records together and form a one record. ultimately after concatenating this worksheet from the workbook, i need to present them in a PDF document.

    how do i do that?

    It would be very helpful if you could post an example spreadsheet with sample data and an example or two of the desired result. Please don't post a screen shot image, most users here can't see them.

    Can you provide a sample of a before and after desired result? What worksheets or cells need to be combined and exported?

    Hi there

    as per the attachment i have some repetitive data in my sheet. i need to generate a pdf which should have a table including columns C, D & E. as you can see the data colored in orange are repetitive. i need to have a row like below;
    data C1 a, c aa,cc

    sorry is that more clear?

    once i have this filtered i need to present that final table in a PDF document.

    i think this will take some VBA programming to do the concatenation you want since there could be an undetermined number of matches in your data set. That's beyond my ability.

    As far as a pdf, just set up a virtual printer on your computer that prints to pdf. I use pdf creator by pdfforge. It's free and it works. Just download, install, and set up as a printer. Then when you print your document, simply select pdf creator as your printer and print it. Easy.
