Highlight active cell

When selecting, I would like to highlight the active cell without affecting existing formatting and on next mouse click remove the highlight leaving the cell as it was, and also a way of temporarily stopping and restarting again.

With this setup I am able to do most of what I need, like highlight the cell, remove the highlight by either double or right click, and if in the "BeforeRighClick" sub I enable the Target line I clear my cell formats. Here is what I have, hope someone can help.
