Hi,

I have two add-ins, neither are signed. Both are placed in a trusted location. My spreadsheet is also in a trusted location.

One add-in is an XLAM file. This one has no issues and is enabled when I open Excel. The second is a TLB / DLL and requires the user to click on 'Enable Active Content' before being available. As we have some automated processes (I.e. where we programattically launch Excel and then call functions on the add-in), this second add-in is causing difficulties.

I'm struggling to explain:
a) why there is a difference between the two
b) how to allow the second add-in to enable automatically

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
