is there any way i can prevent a sheet and its functionality being impacted if a non-read only version and a read-only version are open at the same time? under this scenario, the sheet won't update correctly.

i have code in there that will only make the sheet work if the name of the sheet meets a naming condition, it does work, but if a non-read only and read only are open at the same time, i run into some issues, i was hoping to prevent any odd things from happening under this scenario,

it looks like the Read-Only version that is open will work perfect, but the non-read only version wont update correctly, this behavior only arises if the same sheets are open, read-only & non-read only version
