Data Validation & Vlookup in same cells

Hi people.
Ive started to develop this work book for costing / quoting purposes.
It has been trimmed down for this question. We cost our projects in NZ$ or US$.

I Set a Group for a Section of the sheet. Cell C9.
I can also ad a random item from another group if needed. Column B.
Then i can select an item by Part # Code[Column C] for a row.
Description[Column D] & Unit Cost[Column Q] are filled for that item by Vlookup [Currency Dependent].

How can I select each row / Item by Part # Code[Column C] or Description[Column D] and keep all sections VLOOKUP functionality.

So you mean you wish to select each item by either its part number or its description and have whichever you didn't use to select it to populate appropriately?

I think you may need to abandon the idea of VLOOKUP and use a worksheet change event (VBA) to accomplish this. The idea being you check which column has been changed and fire a small bit of code that updates the other column.

scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
