Passwords for numeric values in drop down lists

Hi all,

I have a drop down (data validation) list of 70 numeric values (each relating to a 4 digit product code).
I want to set an individual password for each product code.

I have searched the forums for a solution to my problem and have found the following thread:

I tried editing the top part of the code that begins with Const changing the name to a 4 digit code and i get an error saying "compile error, expected identifier". I don´t understand why Const is not working with a numeric value.

Furthermore, if it worked I assume that I would need to repeat that line of code 70 times.
If possible I would like to save the passwords on a hidden sheet, with the password matched to each 4 digit code.
