Hello everybody,
I have a large database in excel and i have to sort it. I have one column full of numbers, i wanth to sort it by number of occurencies of number
solution should look like: eg. nr 66 appeared 22 times etc - to have two columns, one with numbers and another with number of occurencies

Hi nn,

You can sort by multiple criteria in any order you like.

In this instance you'd sort first by the column with number of occurrences, then by column with number of the solution.

It might be easier if you provide an example worksheet with a before and after view just to make sure I'm understanding you right.

Hello, thanks for really fast ansver.
Problem is like this, i have a column like this on photo

Its a lot of numbers in column, and they are repeated i wanth to get result: 2 columns at one are written numbers nad at another number occurencers. Like on this photo number 94 occured 4 times so i would like excell to calculate that for me.
And another question, as you can see somewhere is written OS in front of number, how can i delete it automaticaly but keep number formated as number NOT TXT?
