Accessing Document Quickparts

Hi,

I have a document template that I'm trying to update the "status" quickpart of on opening. But I can't access it.

I have the text ready to go in, but don't know how to access the quickpart. I should add that I'm working in Word 2016.

Can anyone help me please?

edit: I've tried recording a macro, but that was about as useful as a chocolate fireguard
Selection.TypeText Text:="2016"
But how do I make the selection??
