Compare Columns in Two Sheets. If Match, Transfer data in Cell from Sheet 1 to Shet 2

Hi Guys,

I have been working at this challenge for a while now. I hope someone could spare some time to assist me

I have Two Worksheets with 3 Tabs: Product | SKU | Quantity.

Both tabs are populated with Products. All Product in both worksheets are not similar

All Product in Worksheet 1 have SKU in the next Column But No Product in Worksheet 2 have SKU

I would like a method to compare Products in Worksheet 1 and 2. If any Products in Worksheet 1 has and associated SKU, then corresponding SKU for related Products in Worksheet 2 is copied and used to populated the SKU in Worksheet 2

I hope that made some sence. Please see both files attached

Copy and paste the following macro in a regular module in your workbook with no SKU's. Save the workbook as a macro enabled file so that its extension is changed to "xlsm". Next save the workbook with the SKU's as an Excel workbook so that its extension is changed to "xlsx". Make sure that both workbooks are open and then run the macro.

Hello again and many thanks for your quick feedback. I was wondering if itwould be possible

to effect a much neater method

ie Compare Columns A and B vs E and F then match F to B if Column A (Cell) = E (Cell)

just a thought. is it possible at all?

Since you are using Excel 2013, you may use Power Query to get the desired result set.
Import data from both the workbooks and create only connection, then merge both the queries to get the result in a separate table and that will be dynamic so that if you add more data or update data on any of the workbooks and refresh the query, the resultant table will update accordingly.
