I have been trying without success, to attach a file to a thread. In the General Settings, I have tried both Editor Interfaces and turning on and off Enhanced Attachment Uploading. All I get when I click the paperclip icon is a blank box. I have also tried using MS Edge and MS Internet Explorer but still no success. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
You can say "THANK YOU" for help received by clicking the Star symbol at the bottom left of the helper's post.
Practice makes perfect. I'm very far from perfect so I'm still practising.
Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
Thank you for your quick reply. When I click 'Browse', I select the file I want to attach but it does not appear in the 'Browse' box. Are there any known issues with Windows 10?
I have Windows 8 but you don't see it like this?

My view is slightly different. Instead of 'Choose File' I have two 'Browse' buttons. I tried again and it seemed to work this time. The file name appeared in the 'Browse' box and when I clicked 'Upload' the name appeared indicating that the file was attached. I then have to close the window to return to the response box. The name of the attached file does not appear anywhere in the same window as the response box. Should it not be visible there?
