can somebody please help with this Vba project i need to update sheet 1 with new info from sheet 2 sheet 1 will have more info in it from column R to Z that needs to stay in place when info is copied from shee2 which is linked to another file that auto updates am having troubles getting the file to attach

if i put a formula in A1 to figure how many rows i need to add how do i tell VBA to insert rows / shift cells down at A8 by the no. in A1
A8 will always be highest no. counting down in both these sheets ? and thanks in advance for any help anyone can give i am new to this and trying to learn sorry if i am not wording things right
i think i got part of it i dont understand how it works that good at this point . i found somebody elses code and modified it i have been diggin all over trying to find some info and i may have broke some rules here and else where with posting asking questions different places and sorry for this but i have not gotten any replys except for one who said post removed and i have no idea what they meant . i will post links for now on if i ask same question in other forums
