I have workbook that contains a public macro, and on one of the spreadsheets within the workbook, there is a private macro. My private macro hides a wordart shape if the value of "F40" is not equal to 0, else the wordart should appear. At first the private macro works, however, when once I execute the public macro, the wordart does not work properly anymore. Will someone help me? Below is the Private and Public macros:

My overall goal is to hide a wordart shape if the value of cell F40 does not equal to 0, otherwise the shape is not hidden. That would be my private macro within a spreadsheet. I also have another macro (which is public) that I use after the private macro is run. The public macro is designed to copy that spreadsheet over into a new workbook, delete the macro, create a new folder if the folder doesn't exist, save that workbook within the folder, then email a recipient that workbook in pdf format.
The problem is that the private macro works initially, until I run the public macro, after that the wordart remains unhidden even if I change the value of cell F40 to >0.
