Hi All,
I have some code which again activates alarms/warnings. It works fine although I don't think its good practice due to my misunderstanding of when to use ""
Private Sub ComboBox18_Change()
Me.TextBox5 = Trim(Left(Me.TextBox5, 17) & Right(Me.ComboBox18, 2) & Mid(Me.TextBox5, 18, 255))
If Len(ComboBox18.Text) > 3 Then
If Val(ComboBox18.Value) = GECKO Then
TextBox6.Value = "SEE BEAM INTERGRITY" & vbLf
End If
If Val(ComboBox18.Value) = BURTON Then
TextBox6.Value = "ENSURE CONFORMITY" & vbLf
End If
End If
End Sub
For example, should this line:
If Val(ComboBox18.Value) = GECKO Then
read as:
If Val(ComboBox18.Text) = GECKO Then
Any help would be much appreciated as I've potentially hundreds of these to do and do not want to start off on the wrong foot.
