Question If cell in Column G = X then fill 123 in Column H (and skip already filled cells)

    Hi,

Trying to write formula that will look to see if value X is in Column G and if it is then paste .Now in the same row in Column H.

This will also need to skip any cells that have already been filled in Column H so they aren't overwritten.

Been trying with ByVal Target As Range but finding difficult.

    TY

Isn't this simply something like (untested)...

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

Thanks for this, I will test shortly.

I have also created this code which works:

EDIT: Is there a way to lock the value in the cell to prevent someone from overwriting if .Value is changed to Now instead of 123?

Or to skip that row if it has a value?
