VBA which runs in case of duplicate information

    Hi All,

I would like whether it would be possible to create a macro for the situation below:

I have a column, Column A, and in this column I usually Insert dates, one below the other.

Would it be possible to create a macro which automatically runs if by mistake I insert the same date twice.

The idea would be that if I insert a date twice, a dialog user form with the message 'Error' would pop up.

Not sure if this is possible, but would be really great if someone can help.

Appreciate a lot your kind help.

    Thanks

    Keibri

    How about Data Validation?

If you google with the keywords like

    Excel prevent duplicate entry

    You will get the idea.
