    Trying to record a macro

    Hello Experts,

I am trying to record a macro to perform the following tasks when the smiley face is clicked

    · Take the data from in cells C6 C8 C10 C12 & C14 in the Delivery Ticket sheet and enter them in the Index sheet
    · Create a copy Delivery Ticket and rename it as per the Delivery Ticket number
    · Clear the data from Delivery Ticket
    · Give the now blank sheet the next consecutive number

I have attached the sheet here, any help would be greatly appricated

Try this on a copy of your workbook.

Re: Trying to record a macro

    Hi jolivanes,

Thank you so much, it works great.

A couple of things, 1. its not picking up the date in index sheet , which i forgot to ask for. 2. would it be possible to remove all the data from the delivery ticket when sent to the index, ready for new data input

    Hope that makes sense

    Thanks again

    Kevin

All the relevant cells in that sheet have formulas.
Do you want to delete them?
