Scrape specific data from different/several url

    Hi,

I'm having problems in scraping the data in MonsterIndia.

I have come up with this code however, it doesn't return the # of Jobs. As of now, I'm trying to use 1 sample data only.

Please Login or Register to view this content.
What I want to get is the total number of jobs, let say in Chennai , it says 25711Job(s). What the code will return is 25711 only.

The site requires job search and other parameters, but I do not see your URL, so I do not know how you manage to log-in with out parsing the parameters in the URL. Could you attach your URL for testing?

sorry. forgot to attach the sample data ie. the url.
    Here's a sample url:
    http://monsterindia.com/jobsearch/jo...n-chennai.html

no need to login to see the number of jobs as I would like to know the number of jobs per city posted in monsterindia.

take note: the number of jobs might not be the number I posted in the thread as it changes fast.

    http://www.monsterindia.com
will take you to the home page. You need to enter the city, type and years experience to get to the page you want to access. Your code does not seem to have any of these queries. When I run it, it runs but does not do any thing. I am wondering how did you manage the get the data you are referring to.
