I have two reports that run similar data that i need to combine.
After combining, my report will look like this:
A B C
1 55000 55000,1,female,NJ
2 55000 56000,1,male,NY
3 56000 57000,2,male,PA
4 56000 58000,2,female,ct
5 57000 59000,2,male,md
6 57000 60000,3,male,ri
I will need the report to place a value C1, where the value in column B begins with the 5 digit number that found in A1.
It would need to look like this in the end (C1 has to show the B:B value that starts with the text in A1):
A B C
1 55000 55000,1,female,NJ 55000,1,female,NJ
2 55000 56000,1,male,NY 55000,1,female,NJ
3 56000 57000,2,male,PA 56000,1,male,NY
4 56000 58000,2,female,ct 56000,1,male,NY
5 57000 59000,2,male,md 57000,2,male,PA
6 57000 60000,3,male,ri 57000,2,male,PA
Is there a code I can write for to complete this? Or is there a formula I can use?
