Hello, looking for a way to dynamically create pivot tables through a macro, based on a filtered (or non-filtered) population. The attached contains a sample detailed list that will eventually generate a summary. Prior to creating the summary, users can filter by "pay grade" using slicers.
The macro first copies the filtered (sliced) selection to a new tab, and what I am hoping to do is create a second tab that can dynamically create pivot tables based on the selection. Criteria for the pivot table includes:
- Pay Grade FILTER
- 4-Block Rating FILTER
- Employee Name in the ROWS
- Count of Employee Name in the VALUES
For example, if I select 07A-07P and 08P on the slicers on tab 1, the macro will paste 16 rows of data to the first newly created tab, and then 10 pivot tables should be created on the second new tab. Each table is filtered for each pay grade (07A-07P and 08P), and five sets of ratings, therefore creating 10 pivot tables.
Is this possible?
Thanks for any insight.
