In the record Num2, what should we do with the diverging dates? Use the maximum or minimum value?

    Hi Werko,

A Pivot Table with some small Design Changes will give you what you want, no VBA needed.

Don't show Row or Column Grand totals, Repeat and ... Click on my Pivot and the Design tab and play to see what I gave.

    PT with Design Changes.xlsx

To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

Re: Sum with two matching criterias in two columns

    Hey Ford,

Is the "how to attach a file" instructions for me? If you click on my link it will download my file. I built his file from his picture to solve his problem. BTW - I used to go to Advanced and then click the Paper Clip Icon above the message area that would allow me to chose a file. It no longer does this. Because it is shorter to click on the picture icon above a normal message and add the .xlsx file, I've been doing it that way for a month or two. If I'm hurting the site using this "add a picture" method, let me know.
