Hide Form Button ?

I thought this was gonna be a slam / dunk ... but nooooooo .....

I have a Form button on Sheet 1. (Not ActiveX ... a Form Button)

When the workbook loads, a wave file is auto played.

I want the button to be hidden until the wav file finishes playing.

I have spent 6 hours searching the internet and found all kinds of 'examples' how to hide the button but .... either
an error message says 'Object doesn't support that.' or the macro is completely ignored and nothing happens to the button.

How can so many folks be wrong about hiding a button on a worksheet ?

Do you have a SURE FIRE way of hiding then unhiding the button ?

ActiveSheet.Shapes.Range(Array("Button 1")).Visible = False

I tried it on a sheet and it worked
