    Add search results to a single array

    New edit:

    Hi guys,

    I'm looking to do the following:

    Search for a keyword in a file
    paste the results of that keyword into a cell in a workbook (i.e. the folder that contains that keyword)
    Then loop again for the same keyword (in case there is more than one folder)
    If not then simply end the loop

    Does anybody have any ideas they can help me with, I seem a bit frazzled and cant get it started.
    I know what I need, I just simply cant get my head around i.e.

    Keyword = search....

    For 1 to ubound etc

    any ideas?

    Do you mean a key word in a file name? Do you want to start at a root directory and work your way down?
    One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

    A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.

    I've just changed the way I'm doing it now - sorry for the confusion but thanks for the reply!

    I'm going to search a workbook for 'criteria'
    if the 'criteria is found then it pastes into 'x' cell
    it then reloops (Incase there is more than one criteria)
    and so forth until it's all done!

    Does that make sense?
