How to operate on date and get the day and the month?

For example I want to get the date from Aug 1st this year, and date will plus the multiple of 7 till the end of this year. The result I want is just the month and day. For example 0801 , 0808, 0815 ...

In A1, type 8/1/2017 and format mm/dd
In A2 type = A1 +7 and copy down.
