Print macro, simplifying the process of printing multiple versions of same sheet.
So inherited this production excel program from my previous position. The way the company uses this file is it determines some of the production inputs for associates and build instructions. The current condition is if an order has 50 items on it then on this particular sheet tab called "Build Sheet" where there is a line, name managed as "print_this_line", where a drop down selection box lets you pick a number from the order sheet 1-250.
When you select the order line number, say 3, then all the fields on this sheet will auto fill with the details as it pertains to that line item on the order.
This is then in turn printed out for use on our manufacturing line. Where operators use critical info on this build sheet to construct our product.
What I have not been able to determine how to do is either of the following:
_____________________
PDF: Create a macro that would auto populate this "print_this_line" with each individual line item ordered and then package all the resulting PDF pages together into one printing bundle.
_____________________
Print: Create a macro that would automatically print this sheet with each line item populated on the order sheet. No backup file created, but delivers the time savings that would be helpful/impactful.
