I do not know what you are referring to.
What is tally erp9?
Is it a text file? If it is please attach it to your reply
- is the data sensitive? you may not want to attach the file....
Something you could try:
Click Data Tab
Get Data from Text
Navigate to the file
and see what Excel imports for you automatically

tally erp is our accounting software
You will need to look at all the options in your software
Is your accounting software Windows based?
Is there an option to EXPORT data?
If Windows based, then you may find the option under File..\.Export... (this is a guess ...)
If you find the Export option, then you need to export the data and it may be possible to export as an Excel file or a csv file
- those would probably be the best options for you

Use Excel to interrogate your accounting files
- Your data files may be protected by your accounting software
- data may be encrypted so that Excel cannot read it (again this is a guess - I do not know your software)
- Even if Excel could interrogate your accounting files directly, it would be safer to use the Export function that is built into your software for this purpose.
- this involves interrogating accounts data files, find the invoices file, find the invoices you want.... etc - sounds very tricky
- ask software vendor if this is possible
or Use Excel to automatically select options in accounting software
- I do not know if Excel could do that automatically
- ask software vendor if this is possible
