Hi,
I have a workbook (see attached Test Data.xlsx file) where I have my data stored on the ‘Raw Data’ tab. The data is an import from another application and it has blank lines and headings replicated down the data.
When I sort my data on column ‘A’ (Project) and column ‘B’ (Project Number) the data is sorted numerical with the headings (excluding the main headings in row 1) sorted to the bottom with the blanks lines scenario being automatically resolved.
What I would like is a macro to check for the word ‘Project’ from cell A2 downwards and if any rows are found with ‘Project’ in column ‘A’ then delete these rows and thus leaving the main headings in row 1 intact (please see the ‘Sorted Data’ tab as the expected result)
As you will appreciate my live data has many thousands of rows of data and a macro would be the ideal solution
Any assistance in the matter would be greatly appreciated
Many thanks in advance
Regards
Rob
