    Link to another workbook VBA

    Hi All.

I have two workbooks wkb1 has data and wbk2 get some specific data and updates from wbk1. I have linked both workbooks together and works fine but these needs to be shared with others that they may need to add/delete data in wkb1 and update wbk2. I have set workbook to it's path as

it does work fine on my PC but when I share that with someone else obviously the path won't be exist. Any suggestion on that? or can I just set the workbook based on it's file name and keep it in same folder?

    Any idea highly appreciated.

    Thanks,

Is it possible to put the workbook in a shared network area?

You'll need to set the path to full unc (\\servername\sharename\path) rather than a drive letter if the IT set up allows users to map their own drives....as your drive letter may be different to another users.

In case if anyone interested I found a way to do it by activating the external workbook.

It worked fine between myself and my colleague through sharedpoint with Microsoft 365.
