Macro to ask user which row to copy and paste cells to specific cells in another sheet

I am new to Macro/VBA. I need a macro that when it runs, it will ask the user to enter which row the user would like to copy and it will paste the values of each cells to specific cells in a template. hope someone can help. thank you in advance!

Right Click on the sheet name at the bottom of excel and select view code to see the sheet specific macro

just one last thing, (i can do it manually but was wondering..) my source file's cells are colored and i wanted to copy just the values and not the format itself. is there a way for this to happen?
